Current Government legislation requires the need for PAT testing in the ‘Fire Safety Risk Assessment -Offices and shops‘ documents, designed to ensure that all electrical appliances fitted with a 3 pin plug are always in a safe working condition. As a result, regular testing is required to show you are taking your staff, visitor and customers safety as of the highest importance. Fines are in place in the result of a breach of this legal requirement.
Any electrical appliance that is fitted with a 3 pin domestic plug is required to be tested on a regular basis to ensure that it is in a safe working condition.
